Besides that's what stories are, anything is possible in stories.
Really i don't see what's wrong with Revan being a Sith Pureblood!
It would explain the reason why Revan was and is powerful than Jedi Masters.
Sith race in past were all force-sensitive, each of them has long life-span.
Longer than that of Vandar's and Yoda's race, longer than even First Jedi who was also a member of Vandar's and Yoda's race.
